Osei Kwame Despite And Brother Donate $100,000 To Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital
Dr Osei Kwame and his brother, Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, have once again demonstrated their kind-heartedness in these challenging times in the wake of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
They have presented a cash total of US$100,000 to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital today to enable administrators quickly acquire all the necessary tools and medications needed to combat the novel Coronavirus.
They hope and trust that this amount will be put into judicious use for the benefit of the vulnerable and the sick in our society. They are therefore entreating the CEO of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Dr. Oheneba Owusu-Danso and the entire management team to see to the proper spending of the money to help fight the virus.
Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong acknowledge the support of the Government, to all the Regional Hospitals across the country.
However, the selection of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital comes as a result of the Hospital’s support for not only the Ashanti Region but all neighboring regions within the middle belt and Northern part of Ghana.

Astute morning show host of kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwame Sefa Kayi has explained the government delay in declaring a lockdown of the country in the wake of novel coronavirus.
Chairman General as he is affectionately called has disclosed that Ghana needs a total lockdown but in his opinion, Ghana will be in chaos and discomfort in the system due to lack of food.
Speaking on his morning show program 'Kokrokoo' on Tuesday, opined that the total lockdown in Ghana will cause complete disorder and confusion in the country.
In case that hard decision is will come up in the West African nation as according to him, it will attract a bountiful domestic implication. He added.
At a news briefing in Accra on Tuesday held at the information ministry, the Health Minister, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu said, his outfit received a total of 185 test result and '25 of the quarantined have tested positive ' therefore, the country has recorded two deaths as a result of the outbreak.
